In case you missed it, Kansas State transfer Will Howard was named the starting quarterback for Ohio State and its opening game against the Akron Zips on Aug. 31. There was an arms race of sorts between him, Devin Brown, and Alabama transfer Julian Sayin’. But nobody was surprised that Howard got the nod.
